I have an 06 Max SE with 44k miles, purchased new. When the car had 15k miles the dealer replaced both front struts, as below 32 degress F, they became very noisy (NE Ohio location). Had same problem with 03 Alimtima. They we OK for the following winter, however this winter, both are noisy again. I am "assuming" the supplier to Nissan has a problem. Anybody else have the same issue?

 

just about everyone has this issue, lol

 

More than likely It is the strut bearing that is making the noise. Mine does the same thing in the winter.

 

replaced mine at 10k. thankfully a new designed was made at the same time. they are still strong with 60k+ on the odo.
