Instead of dropping my car on Teins I drove up to tahoe over the weekend in the snow. It was a very nice and smooth ride. I was in a rush when i took these pics

Hahahahaha...damn, I remember those days before I got winter rims. She must have been a little greasy for you.
Nice choice for paint color. It bods well for a nice contrast between the tires, rims, headlamps, grill, fog-lamps and tint on the windows.

Messy....
Man the weather here in Cali has been pretty bad.Tons of rain and the mountains are getting snow by the foot.
Just out of curiosity why are all the wipers up??

We put the wipers up so that the dirt on the wipers can drain off same applies for the windshield.Originally Posted by 07maxima-n

I turned off my speakers to enjoy the sound of the catback and CAI haul up to the summit. My car was loaded with equipment, passengers and brews but i am wondering what are the pros and cons of driving in snow on a drop? The reason why I ask is because my teins came in and i thought about dropping this weekend and then go up to the slopes next weekend. Hopefully I will have a flexible schedule and take better pics

We got 9inches dumped on us last night. Never really took the car out in the snow so i went for a drive for the hell of it. Almost ended up spending the night in the car when i got on an unplowed highway stuck between two steep hills. The all season tires i have did great on small hills but epically failed on on hwy313. Thankfully i was able to turn around and drive in my tracks back out to the interstate.
Stuck on hwy313

So much snow stuck in the wheel well that the tire tread left grooves in the snow when i turned the wheels.

It felt like the hand brake was on at times. I see why now.

I am curious as to why the three vehicles (Maxima, Ranger, Pathfinder) in the one picture have their windshield wipers up. I live in Canada, and have never seen this done.

He says to let the dirt run off...

I stand mine up so the dont freeze to the windshield.

so they dont freeze to the windshield and easier to brush/scrape snow and ice off the windshield..Originally Posted by 240tomax
