lowering my car

I just bought 22x8.5 wrapped in a 245/30s. offset is +40.
I want to buy coilovers and lover my car, going after a 'slam look'
what kind of mods would i need to do? any shavings of inner fender?
I was thinking of coil overs because mine is my daily driver, including the winter , this way i can jack her back up, any experiences with coilovers?

Might need a slight roll of the fenders. Just make sure you oil the coilovers before winter so the don't rust, and won't adjust. Depending on where you live that is. Im from Canada so rust is my worst enemy.

I actually like the stock rims better but you went with chrome so cool choice. I would just get some springs bc coilovers are gonna cost you. good **** man!

It's not about that. It's about the weight and OD of your wheel/tire combo.

would try the k sports or D2s (pretty much the same). Its going to be a rough ride my friend but good luck. you will probably end up rubbing anyways especially in the back on your wheel wells.

I would never do anything that crazy, however, at the end of the day - it's what you like and what your personal pref is buddy.

Make the gap up front equal to the gap in the rear.

Don't get coilover!!! I bought bc racing coilover n got them install will at first I was 4 1/2 inch lower on my 20" rim n my tire had rubing noise all the time n I'm now 2 1/2 inch lower n still getting rough ride. Tommor my shop gonna rasier it up more.

Anybody know if "bumper stop" need to be cut? Cause manual book said do not cut or remove bumper stop.

wheels are awesome, i just think their purpose would be served better on an SC430 lexus or an LS430. i dont think this wheel goes with this type of car.
