New Car some Problems

I just recently bought an 05 Nissan Maxima SL. Starting the car seems kind of loud is this normal. Also its not a clock to run smoothly idling its a little loud. Also usually in any gear around 2k rpm I hear a soft grinding noise anything above that is fine. Anyone have any ideas. Any things I should look for. Also the splash guard underneth the car by where the oilpan is hanging down where can I purchase one with bolts and how much would it be? ANy inputs on the vehicle? The car also has 92,000 miles.

The grinding noise is probably the heat sheild. Nothing to worry about. Fasteners will probably be dealer only. As for the engine get a scanner and check your computer. Do the usual stuff like check air filter etc.

i think i have something similar but on 5.5 gen, when cars is cold first second cars rattles a lot, then gone, and between 2-3K rpms i hear this ticking noise from the timing chain area.

you should have someone accelerate while you listen under the hood to see if you can locate the source of the sound
