Headlight mod need Directions

I have an 08 and I need directions on how to remove the amber sides on the headlight. I have searched and looked at the modification sticky. It is monday morning at work so i might just be too out of it to find it but can someone point me in the right direction. Thanks for the help.

just bake your headlights and open them up. then take out the amber.

225 Degrees for 20 mins (max). Use a putty knife and do your best to keep the glue as intact as possible (as you're going to need to reseal when you are finished). Bend back the tabs slightly once you take the headlight out.

I did this on Sunday and it worked perfectly.

Some people will say don't use your regular over. That's garbage...mine worked fine and it didn't smell bad at all afterwards. Just a slight glue/sealant smell during the process.

Hey!!!
Do you have to remove all the wires and bulbs from the headlight when you put it in the oven???

Yeah, take off what you can before you bake it; especially bulbs.

Yes you do.

Also cover the lens with a damp towel too. Window sealer can help you put it back together too. Good luck
