Well there goes my boot...

Car is in for scheduled maintenance... need new brake pads, which the dealer tried to sell me, along with OEM rotors because mine are cross-drilled... WTF, really? LMAO And they wanted $600+ just for that. haha

But, it ends up my front passenger boot is torn... thankfully nothing has leaked out yet. I actually went back and saw it for myself, and yup... torn. They don't have the part (of course), so my car is sitting at the dealer overnight, while I have a Kia Rondo loaner.

So this repair is going to cost me close to $1g (along with all the regular scheduled stuff). I have to get it done though. Meh. But after this, I am seriously considering moving up to an Infiniti. Got a great price on a G37x sedan today, so we will see.

That'll definitely solve my check engine light I am getting from the headers/primary a/f sensors... lol

I'll take your Ypipe.... G37? Doesn't your Max have at least equal performance with all your modifications?

Nah, I doubt it... AWD etc... test drove an X sedan today... not even close. lol

Max is staying overnight at the dealer, since they had to order a boot and some other stuff I guess. When I get it back tomorrow, I need to take out a bunch of stuff. Wish I had a chance to get the headers out though... Meh. But I'll let the car auction people deal with that, and the CEL. I'll just clear it before pulling up.

My y-pipe has a dent in it, and the flex piping is pretty frayed from speed bumps etc, but it still works with no leaks. I'll have to think about how much I'll part with it for. But I'll def. hold it for ya!

Your Max can't hold its own against a stock G37 awd?
