Quick Pics of my ride.

So it was kinda nice out today and decided to snap some pics to show everyone what I'm workin with.

Nothing major... just figured I'd show ya what I got. Maybe get some suggestions. I've been thinking about lowering it, but don't want the ride to be too stiff. Also thinking about painting the headlights, but scared of condensation inside.

Guess I just gotta get some *****!

You should paint the mesh in the grille, it wouldl look better. But I do like the tinted tail lights and shaved trunk.

cover those side markers with some vinyl. Paint your calipers silver, lower your front end, and paint those plastic foglight covers to match the car. Ohh remove the front license plate.

Don't lower it. You will hate winters, and speed bumps, and... and... and... lol

Looking good!

P.S. Where are the pics of the engine bay?

I had vinyls on the side markers that i made from an old set from the tails. But they would fall off after a car wash. Do you have em? If so, from where?

I plan on painting the foglight covers.

No front plate = pulled over by cops. I don't need any more problems with them.

I made mine the outline with carbon paper and had the local vinyl shop cut them out for me. I have washed this car at least a hundred times since they were put on with no problems. Use real vinyl not tint. check your yellow book for a local vinyl shop and go buy a sheet of the color of your car and transfer to the back of the vinyl and cut out. this way if you have a sheet of it and you screw up you can redo. I also used the extra vinyl to design my third brake light.

Looking good Bootz, keep it up.

IMO

1. Drop looks good and cornering improves but your ride comfort will suffer a bit. Especially if you go over 18" rim

2. Sidemarkers: I don't like the vinyl. Tried it on my car and that it looked like an after thought, haven't seen anyone else's car in person so maybe it was the way I did it.

I went with chrome CF sticker. It's holding up "okay" I needed a little bit of UV protection I think. As far as opening up the headlights, I've never had condensation issues. Just cover that lens with a damp towel before baking.

3. Foglight covers: I've always thought they should match the body color, the only ones who can get away with not painting them are blue and black cars.

4. Your grill looks good, is that the original mesh? I wouldn't paint it, it matches your wheels

5. License plate: how about one of the motorized holders, those are sweet.

6. Painting calipers is always good, it's on my list. I'm going with black. Not red.

7. Oh yeah, I always did like my roof spoiler but it may not be for everyone.

Your calipers look good, but if it were ME, i'd hit them with a little bit of tint spray to match your tails. The red would match stock tails but not so much with your tinted ones.

looks excellent regardless! keep it up!

Thanks!

Thinking of lowering it, roof spoiler, DEPO led tails, and switchback leds in front turn signals.

your car looks dope man. you said you were thinking of getting new set of rims, were you thinking of black with maybe a chrome / machined lip... cause that would set it off. i have a question, my maxima is black and I really want to tint the taillights like you did. Any suggestions as to where or how to get that done?
