Yup. Traded in the '04...
I decided, with the issues that were starting to pile up with my car (suspension/sensor codes etc. etc.), and the VPP pricing (basically, employee pricing) I was able to get on any Nissan/Infiniti vehicle, it was time to upgrade.
Picked it up on Saturday, and got it tinted this morning... 35% all around, which is now legal here in Illinois.
Don't worry... I'll still be around here once in awhile. You guys aren't getting rid of me that easily!

It's absolutely no contest... and I had pretty much every bolt-on/intake/exhaust mod available for the 6th Gen. lol
--------------
alliance, if you want an M35x, go for a 2010. They want those gone, and are giving HUGE discounts. My mother ended up getting one after she saw my G lol... they took $11,000 off sticker on the spot!

Very nice pick up!! You, I and the rest of us all know it's the car we wish we had. That said. There is still a thing or two it needs. The performance mods should be at the bottom of your list if it's as fast as it feels for you already...unless you want the magic sounds of combustion in your face, at which point, I whole heartedly agree! The wheels look too small and the tires too all season. It's an x, it'll get around fine no matter the tire. My friends Evo is proof. I live in (what looks like the NS as well) and have been getting around fine with FWD and ****ty tires FOREVER! Forget the front plate...they don't have time for that around here and it looks so much better without. A small flat black lip on the front of that thing would kill it! A small spoiler on the rear really sets these off. Can you tint out the rear lenses a little? Whatever man...congrats! Great car!!

As far as the tails. I dunno. I should have asked my guy when I was getting my windows tinted this morning. lol There's a bulge which I imagine wouldn't make it an easy task. I don't want to be attracting too much attention with this ride... at least for awhile!
You know how Crook County is... at least I'm sure you've heard... lol

What size are the wheels?

Clear bra... Hell yes. I had the dealer install it with the lifetime warranty.
Wheels are 18"... forgot the tire size. I'll post that up when I remember.
Hamchan... I've only had the smaller things for sale that I've been willing to ship. Most of the bigger stuff I'll try and get rid of locally. It's just easier that way...
Yes... fast as ****! lol
hmr... The front sport bumper is badass. I thought about the aero package, but my luck with aftermarket exterior mods is terrible. I like it the way it is!
Thanks everyone!

SHO:
0-60 in 5.2
0-100 in 12.8
1/4mile in 13.7@103
G37S (w/o the AWD system)
0-60 in 5.4
0-100 in 13.5
1/4mile in 14@102
The SHO does quite well for its weight and can go head to head with the G while maintaining similar MPG.
Nonetheless, congratz on the beautiful G I love that car!

Very cool car I will probably trade my 05 SL in when the extended warranty runs out at 75000 miles this maxima is not built as good as the 99 SE I had, don't get me wrong the car drives great but It scares me with no warranty. They just put a new tranny in my car a few months ago at 53000 WTF trannys are suppose to last alot longer than that I have never had to have a tranny replaced in any car I ever owned?!!? And my rear wheel bearings went to???? I do all my maintenance's and this??? With out the extended I would have had to fork out over $5000g's for all these repairs. Might look at a M35 in a year or maybe the IS350 I have been a Nissan person for many years I still like there line up well see.

Wrong forum Traitor..... Lol, just kidding. I didn't know you posted here. Very nice! Looks like you have another Infinity in the Garage? I got to start paying for my student loans. So no more cars for me.

I was paying my folks a visit. My mom picked up a 2010 M35x this weekend too. They took $11k off sticker on the spot, plus VPP discount, and her trade-in... They couldn't pass up the opportunity.

I am pretty sure I saw that the G spanked the TT Taurus at the track here:

That G has a redline that singggggs! My uncle has an 08, did they ever get 1st gear under control? 1st was so touchy that you couldn't NOT jump off the line.

Did she intentionally trade in the GS or did it run away from her to the Infiniti dealership?
Very nice car bro... Nice to know you are staying with the Nissan extended family.
