The 100,000 mile Club thread

Our 6th Gen Maximas are aging now and many members are hitting 100,000 miles. I just hit 100,000 miles. I was heading westbound on the 210 freeway in La Verne CA about 200 yards before the Foothill Blvd exit in the slow lane on Saturday April 10, 2010.

Id like to hear where and when you hit 100,000 miles and send a pic of the odo if you took one. Here is mine:

Driving to work sometime last spring, I hit it. I wasn't even paying attention due to a fight with my now ex-wife. 127K now.

My 2004 has 84K at the moment, 18K of that is highway driving from school back home (190 miles roundtrip).

For those of you with 100K +, could you also post your opinions and feedback on your maximas performance and characteristics at 100K and over!

My engine purrs like a kitten. I'm having to replace my six speed next week because I broke first gear, but I couldn't be happier with the engine.

I am at 105k. Owned it from the jump, so they are all my miles. Kinda weird to have it 100k. I was gonna get a pic but it didn't work out that way. Time for plugs and some other maintenance but I still plan on hitting the track this summer!

I hit 100K this summer, getting on the onramp of a highway. It was kinda tough taking a picture while merging but I did, since I knew it was now or never but that was my daily driver my maximas still at 52K.

I have 107,xxx. Happy to say no engine or transmission issues since I bought it in 2003 new with 9 miles on it.
Ive put an ABS actuator, a sensor, a rear subframe (recalled), had the roof painted for bubbling paint near the windshield, and this weekend control arms which have bad ball joints ($240 shipped for the pair).

Given its been paid for for 2 years now I have to say I am happy with the reliability in general. Its garaged and parked in a ramp and had a new hood bumper and fenders put on it due to an accident and the new painted roof from 2 years ago, so visually it looks like its only a couple years old inside and out.
When im ready to get something else I will probably put it up for sale myself since its been taken care of and worth alot more then the blue book trade in.

2004 SE and I'm at 115k now. Had the water pump and timing tensioner replaced at 110k. Other than that, just regular oil changes and seafoam about 150miles before the oil change. Still gets between 28-30mpg too.

I don't know how you guys do it. I mean you guys are averaging 16500 miles a year. That's 320 miles a week or 45 miles a day. That is rediculous. That is about $1786 in gas a year with 28mpg average and at $3 a gallon. That's $34 a week in gas or about $5 a day in gas. I mean let's be serious for a minute that's a lot of miles guys. I drive everywhere and I am just a little above 75k miles.

I have 102000 on mine. Still firing like the night I brought her home. The only thing I need to do is upgrade my struts to KYB. The oem struts sucks.

Also to note...the car still gets pretty damn good milage while cruising on the freeway. I reseted the trip counter when I filled up in town...and got a little over 324 miles at a hair under half tank as shown in my pic.

Cuz you live on a little island, lol. In So Cal, everything is sooooooo spread out. Its not unusual to drive 200 miles on a Saturday of tooling around town.

How about 197,000 & counting. Gaining at the rate of 500 miles per working week and 150 -200 miles per weekend. Not had too many problems. Has an occasional oil drip since 100k coming from the drive shaft. Changed front Rotors to power slots at 95k just did the rear a few weeks ago, K&N OEM filter since new. Mobile One Full Syn every 5k religiously. Winter tires are Hankook Icebears . Go anywhere (and I mean anywhere) in the New England snow, often out doing some 4x4s.
Summer wheels and tires are Privat Profil 19" Black with hand polished lip with Toyo 245/40R19 Proxi T1R's for boots
Stainless steel front Grille Winter 03 destroyed the first.

Had shimmy issue from new tried a bunch of stuff from this forum but never really got to
the bottom Deal was clueless . Now is just an idiosync of the car.
Thinking about struts right now since the orginal are getting a bit noisy now.

Average around 26-28mpg from week to week typical ride to work is 20miles across country and 30 on the highway.

Anyway, still goes like hell and has ***** to spare ~ not much stays with me across country.

I'll be driving this car till it stops expecting at least another 100k so upto 300,000

Awesome you've got that many miles on it with so few problems.
