Wait until you hit 66,216.

Thats the optimum spark plug life expectancy.

100k is more than fine, changing them is a pain you have to take the top of the collector off and it's a bit involved. I waited till 107k and they were fine.

plugs

My friend is a Nissan master mechanic and I asked him about this myself the other day, and he said these maxima plugs are good to 100K miles before needing replaced and that they are a pain in the butt to replace.

oh, and when you do look at changing your plugs, check out pulse plugs instead. look them up online. I think I am going to go that route.

oem NKG platinum are awesome last 100K no problem, worth the money IMO.
if you buy a new set make sure they are gapped by the dealer you cant gap them like regulars you will mess up the coating

EDIT:

^^^ fail
all marketing scam, get the OEM ones, thats what your ignition system was designed for, you can put any plugs in your lawnmower or moped but not in high compression engine, no magic spark plug will do anything better in terms of efficient or power

bout plugs

just change mine on my 07 with 65,000 miles and mine looked kinda burnt up man.i changed them with a buddy and ill admit it was a hassle but honestley saved 300.00 cause thats what the dealership wanted too chage mine out.hell no ima pay 300 too change spark plugs.I followed the write up on changing it and I dont know what too do without it.but some parts where a lil differ on the 07-08 models you got 2 more bolts on the back of the collector wich makes it a total of 4 too pull it off and I would also say change the gasket when you take the collector off.

.....and the PCV valve while you are in there, (don't forget the little rubber piece that goes with the valve).

I am at 62k; I'll probably change mine out this summer.

Did you notice any difference after replacing them?
