Problem with my car ?

Ok so last night there was a storm in houston and while on my way home my RED brake light and Battery light came on ....

i was like it'll probably dry out by tomorrow no worries

so today on my way to work after driving say 25 miles

my car stalls while driving in D and when i hit the gas i get no response i turn the car off

pull over pop my hood wait a few minutes .. turn my car on and it started ... i was like hmm ima check it later

a few block down it stopped again

i did the same thing

then again it stopped ... wth ..

and this time it was clicking as if the battery was dead

so the rest of the way i had to get jump started by people and it kept dieing on me

Bad alternator ? Bad batter ?

any suggestions ?

thanks for reading ...

most likely your alternator. but the more jump and drive you might need a new battery also. your battery can only get you so far....

ALT is shot , did you remove the mudflaps /guards ?

theres a plastic peice underneath the car and to the wheel weld ?

If not you might have drove thru some flood streets... water got into the coils in the alternator.

Try getting your alternator and batter checked. If alternator is bad, your battery will drain quick.
