Cracked glass on 05 Passenger mirror. Salvage options?

Hi All,

A tree branch was extended into the road after some storms and whacked my mirror. The glass shattered, but the mirror otherwise is fine (minor scratch on the cover).
I have an SE with power folding, heat and memory, and the dealer wanted too much money for a replacement or even for the glass, so I went with an aftermarket heated mirror on ebay hoping to swap the glass, only to find out that the mounting bracket is different from the aftermarket one.

Now I'm planning to salvage a mirror from a Maxima, but wanted to make sure that any heated mirror should do. Can anyone confirm that any heated mirror should do and I would be able to swap the glass?

Any other options?

Thanks!

You should be fine.

I had the glass out of mine countless times doing my LED puddle lights.

Just be very careful with the pin connector at the top inside corner.

So it looks like any heated mirror from that generation will work then.

Thanks!
