Well, after all the reviews I couldn't keep this to myself anymore. I called the shop and he did some photoshop for me. So, I want to share with you what I intend to do sometime this month. This is PHOTOSHOP! I am trying to figure out what to do. I have to do it, so if your comment is do not do it, it wouldn't help me very much. I have to do one of these samples. the first-two pictures are a very rough draft. My choice would definitely come off the one of the last 2 pictures. Maybe tell me if any of the last 2 looks better to you.

Now, this is the real deal! These next 2 pictures are still PHOTOSHOP pictures. But I am sharing with you what I plan to do. I wish to choose from one of these designs. If I do pic #1, I will take off the stripes. If I do pic #2, I might or might not take off the stripes. Let me know which you think is better. Remember, if you say do not do it, it would not be helping me very much. But if that is what you want to say, the stage is open for you. Here goes the pics..., PHOTOSHOP pics!

Thanks for that link. I think it sums up what I wish to do. I have searched the web looking for a 4-door sports sedan with stripes and never found one. I like the stripes on this car and I have the feeling "this is it"! So, I will look more into in and if I feel as much as I am thinking, that is how my car would look in about 3 months or so.

I might take off my #23 or change it. I think if they included a number on that aussi car, it would still be good. Well, thanks for that link.

You never got to do it because of one main reason..., your car's color! I believe white or silver would pull this off very easily. My color too, but not as much as the white or silver.

Well, I am leaning towards doing my nismo stripes at the end of the month.

I still appreciate any reviews.

#4 would be ok if you got rid of the GS stripes and instead of Nismo, maybe put Nissan or Maxima at the bottom b/c our Maxs are not Nismo tuned at all so that tends to lend a ricer wanna-be image. I'm ok with the 23 b/c it means something to you and the painted on pinstripe will just blend in with the whole black highlight theme.

Let me repeat this. This might be the internet which is anonymous, but I know a lot of people here care about what they say on the forum. I am one of them. So, I hope you are just being funny about what you are saying.

Hey, thanks about me being original. I really wanted to do something to make my car look sporty and kind of like a race car, without copying what someone has already done. And my main goal is to be able to return my car back to stock without any problems. Hence, vinyl.

I really like it so far, though I still have a couple of things to do again. And I think even if some people might feel different, it is just interesting to see something different.

Stay tuned for more...

While I may not like his ideas, at least his Max isn't going to look like every other lowered Maxima with a set of wheels on it. Seem like everyone gets the same mods, same grilles... then yanks on everyone who does something different.

Welcome to the Internet I guess

I think that the second pic you posted would be the best one if you really want to do something like that. May I suggest removing the 23 and putting vinyl to your "chrome" trim. That would definitely give it a sportier look.

I would look more into what you proposed about putting vinyl on my chrome for a blacker and sportier look. But I really do not wish to take off the "23". I personally do like it. It just makes my car look very different anywhere I go to. Besides, I just got it on, even though for a ridiculous price of ...., $10.00! Yes, I paid only $10.0 to have that put on both sides of my car. So, why wouldn't I go all the way and ask for a quote to do more work on my car? And take everything off after atleast 6 months. It is vinyl (stickers) and cheap from this shop I go to.

I appreciate all your comments. Thanks for helping me choose.

Glad you asked again about this number "23". I just had to say this. You wouldn't believe what someone said about the number.

Here I am after church walking to my car. And this guy parked next to me is walking to his car too. As I am about to get into my car, he looks at my stickers and start smiling then says, "Nice car! And nice choice of psalm! You must be blessed." I did not get it at all, so I said thanks with a slight puzzled facial expression and got into my car and drove off. Well, I later on realized Psalm 23 is very popular too. And it begins; "The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want..."

http://www.gnpcb.org/esv/search/?q=Psalm+23

I personally choosed "23" because I wanted a winning Nissan race number and the number makes my car look like a race car. But so far now, one person on the org has said it could go for a Jordan fan. Then this guy at the church thinks I am soo religious that I had to put Psalm 23 on my car for God's extra protection. Well, whatever the case, it is there to make my car look like a race car. And if I have added protection from God for using the number, all the better.

Besides, ain't done yet!

I'm no one to knock a dudes likes. If you like it who cares the Vette guys will probably hassle, but whatever Challengers have em now too, so it's no longer a vette exclusive. U could make em a little wider, they would look fuller and nicer with the fender.

That story you had, is different. I don't think I ever heard of that before, I always thought of Jordan too when I see # 23.

Anyways, I was just voicing my opinion on what I think about it. I wasn't giving orders or anything like that, if that's what your thinking.

But, if you like it then that's all that really counts and nothing else. Like I said before, I was just giving some constructive criticism.

6.5affiliate, I do appreciate your comment and I took it at face value. No hard feelings even for a second. To you and everybopdy that takes their time to share their ideas with me. But yes, I do take any comment that is different from what I think as constructive criticism.

pktaske, you just brought a new one. I am guessing some people might even think I am 23! But whatever anybody thinks, I guess the number is quite popular itself; Nissan's nismo, M. Jordan, Psalms 23, and now Don Mattingly. Wonder what someone would come up with next.

But all in all, now when you guys do see a number "23", you will remember me, PetitFrereMaxima and the Maxima with vinyl.

Though this is new and very different, I am thinking soon some people might or would get into this. I will be watching...

perkman87 and lblackonblackl, I couldn't help myself but laugh too. Its all good. But hey, I would love to see a miracle like that happen.

This is the org, and I do appreciate everything said by everybody. We are here to share ideas, mods (likes or dislikes), and definitely get the most laughs as we can.

Talking of laughs, a friend of mine just sent me a couple of jokes and I just wish to share these 2 on here. I hope it is funny to you guys too...

JOKE 1

Little Johnny again....

At school little Johnny's class is learning about medicines. Sister
Catherine, the teacher, asks the pupils what kind of medicines they know and
what they are used for.

The first pupil said: 'Tylenol?'

'Very good! And what is it used for?'

'It is used for a headache.'

The second pupil said: 'Nytol.'

'Excellent!' said Sister Catherine. 'And what it is used for?'

'To help you sleep', replied the student.

Now it is Johnny's turn and he said: 'Viagra.'

'And what is it used for, Johnny?' asked the surprised Sister catherine.

'It is used for diarrhea.'

'And who told you this, Johnny?'

'Nobody, but every evening my mother tells my father 'take a viagra, and
maybe that **** will get harder.''

JOKE 2

A little boy asks his dad: Daddy, what’s between my mom’s legs?

The father answers: Paradise, my son.

The kid asks again: What’s between your legs, daddy?

The father replies: the key for the paradise.

The son says: Daddy, let me give you some advice, change the lock, our neighbor has a copy…

The Corvette is a very nice car, but only a 2-seater. So, I cannot and will not buy it.

The Charger, I really admire that car, especially the R/T, but will never go buy one. I don't think I will ever own one of those cars. None of them appeals to me as a car I would like to own. I would rather buy a newer Maxima or a Infiniti.

You know I can't argue with you because I know better that I cannot just walk up and buy any of those cars as if it was my daddy selling each of them. There is more to buying a car, than just talking about it. And I really do not have the money right now. Isn't that an honest answer? Though even if I had the money, I wouldn't buy any of those.

I like the Corvette-style GS stripes on the fenders...first Max I've seen w/ striping. Personally, I would get rid of the Nascar numbering, otherwise, I like the stripes

So, I will enjoy this for now and go back again for more.

I know some might not like this, but it is my car and I like it. And some people have really been looking. Can't tell if it is a WTF look or a WOw look. But whatever the case, all at the Nissan Dealership I went to today looked at it more than twice.

Let me know what you think. Oh, am I the first 6thgen to do this? Just enjoy the pics.

I hate the double stripe on the fender and that 23. Aesthecially I like the Nismo stripe in the second picture alot! Painting the O red would make it look official. Also, the Nismo badge on the rear driverside door looks awesome! Love the placement.. But like you said it's your car so whocares about the WTF's lol..
