Swapping out the projector lens

Any of you fellas swapped out the factory fresnel lens on our projectors to a clear lens? I want the cutoff to be a bit sharper, and to my understanding...a clear lens will give me just that.

Also, can anyone confirm that the projectors used on our cars are the E55 unit?

yes they are. i myself did this conversion to my 04 maxima with non hid to e55 projectors. The project is not too difficult at all you have to remove headlights and bake them in a conventional oven so that you may remove the stock lens projector and replace them with the e55 projectors. Once project is finished you will love your headlights
