compass color

Has anyone attempted to change the color of the compass in the rear view mirror. Im working on changing my interior to blue and noticed the compass and was wondering how hard this would be.

I'm not really knowledgeable about this stuff but from what I read in other forums. This will involve taking it apart and soldering some new leds in there. Crazy stuff man

ya i know that, i have been working on all the lights in my car just seeing if anyone has tryed the rear view mirror

I don't think I've ever read or seen anybody that has attempted that mod before unfortunately.

On your '06 the compass color is orange right? I'm pretty sure the 04-05 maximas already have the bluish compass color, I have an '04 and mine is. I think it was changed to orange for the '06 and later models.
