has this happen to ur max...if so wut did u do?...i dont understand why nissan didnt make the whole strip chrome...is it possible to get that strip chrome?...

Yes it did, replaced underwarranty on one side. The I just bought a new strip for the other side when I was out of warranty.

Those things are crap. A new one will do that in less than a year. Had mine replace after buying the car under warranty. Less than a year it was peeling and dull again.

Pull yours off, dip them in paint thinner and that will get that OE crap tape off. Now get them wrapped in black vinyl or color of your choice, done!
