Need a little help. My daughter's 2008 Maxima has been throwing this code for a while. We have replaced the fuel cap and the canister vent solenoid valve.
She noticed this hole today. I don't think this is the vent hole, diagrams seem to indicate the vent hole would be lower than this.
Is it the hole where the original gas cap tether was attached? Should it be there at all? It seems to be outside the boundry of the fuel system - could it even cause a code problem?
Thanks for any help.
