Is this possible?

had my 08 in for clicking sound when putting foot on gas nd doin 55 mph..dealer said i need a fuel injector service..after the service car was doin same thing..took it back nd second time they told me i need to empty out 2 full gas off tanks..so i did that..drove for 700 miles but same noise..last friday dropped her off again. Nd today they told me its the fuel injectors thats making the noise they told me to drove for 3000 miles and see if it goes away and i asked em if something went wrong the manger told me im in the comouter for the noise...but i dont wanna drive her like that maybe they owner before me used bad gas nd car is doin the same since i bought it..but now its doin more with the CAI ...is it possible that fuel injector to go bad..how can i change them? Is there any DIY and how much are they for? So i should wait 3000 miles and see if it goes away
