Stock radio repair
I took a trip to the dealership to see if they could repair my broken CD player. They told me the only way to do so is for them to take it out, give it to me, and I mail it out to the factory or whatever, they send it back to me, and I bring it back to the dealership for them to install it back into the car. Is there an easier way to repair my CD player? I want to keep the stock unit. All ideas welcome. Thanks.

Time for an aftermarket radio. These are nice stock systems while the work, but even if you get the CD out, eventually you get the drivers side starting to cut in and out. It's very common. Oh yeah get a stereo with a USB input, man I love having that in my car now. 8gb of music on a $20 flash drive.

Depends what you want to do. You can get a good iPod capable decks for $150. Install is pretty easy. Plenty of threads on it. You could also buy a iPod adapter. I think the USA spec one is the best.

you'll need a proper adapter. IT also depends on the type of aftermarket headunit you buy, with internal amp or without, will determine how its wired. there are plenty of useful info in the audio forum http://forums.maxima.org/audio-electronics-21/
