I want to raise my top speed, rev limit.etc
Does anyone know where or how you can buy performance chips to have installed to do this?

When did you purchase your '04? Technosquare has dropped the ball a lot lately. I'd avoid them in all honesty.

UpRev is big on Nissans... but if your car has a Generation 1 ECU (not many of the 2004 Maximas had them... mine did), then you're SOL. Find an UpRev dealer and have them plug in to see if they can help you out.

If you're not far from Carrollton, definitely give Z1 Motorsports a call. Those guys are awesome.

Keep in mind... UpRev isn't a chip, but a computer-based tuning software solution... which is far better than a "chip". Every car behaves differently do different mods... even when stock. You'd be getting a custom dyno tune.

Power gains from tuning soley depend on what your air/fuel ratio & timing maps look like beforehand.

Get a TS reflash or look into UpRev, but you won't see much horsepower gains unless you get breathing mods such as headers and/or 3" cat-back.

UpRev tuning

I ate a slice of humble pie yesterday. I always thought my max was 265hp and that was that. Dents Sports Garage in Norwood, MA hooked me up with the UpRev tuning:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GrZkHIccriM

With just the cold air intake and 3" exhaust I was getting 200hp, but after the tune I'm at 212.5hp. It feels like a new car though, tight shifting, higher rev limiter takes advantage of torque and the mods' sound, and another mpg (22.9 to 24). A normal run on their dyno is $100 for 3 pulls and mine was on there for 2 hours and maybe (9+) pulls so with 12.5hp increase and a better running car for $600 I feel good knowing where my money went. Thanks again to Matt, Nick, Alex, Bill, and Dent!

just a little curious... but just recently had my car on the dyno down @ Church Automotive Tuning in Wilmington, Ca...Had Daniel run a tune on it and from what i remember with just a cold air intake and Greddy Exhaust...

All that was adjusted was the air to fuel ratio for the intake... and my numbers where 253 torque and 260 hp....

With UPREV.....

will keep u guys informed.... next bolt on is Cattman Headers and Racingline y-Pipe.. .and a full tune.... high and low cam......

Yes a few 6thgens have Uprev and works fine. But only the 6thgens with power bolt-on (headers, exhaust etc...) should do it.

I actually called z1 motorsports and was talking to one of their guys there and he said that they offer a mail-in-flash service that would work for my 04 maxima se. Here is the link. http://www.z1motorsports.com/350_g35...91332c378c8c9a
Does anyone have any experience with this service?

The mods Ive done to my car are hollow precats, ypipe, crimps taken out of exhaust, magnaflow muffs, nwp spacers, K2n filter, grounding kit, pulstar iridium plugs, jet maf, and o2 sensor spacers on the secondaries to prevent (ses) light. It all works great but I think my car is running rich. Would that have anything to do with there being spacers on my second o2 sensors?
Thanks,
Jay

You're probably right, the guys said I'd lose a lot with the 4AT, I wouldn't doubt your numbers with a 5 or 6.
