Hey, i have a 06 maxima with 82k on it. I have been having tranny issuse for about a year & half now. I am experiencing jerking, and reving engine, and reverse to drive heistation. No check engine light on.

1) I first changed the fuild in Oct 2009, which help for about a month (only to realise a year later it was the wrong fluid ns-2, which the dealer for nissan in The Bahamas gave me) this stop the jerking for a month then it came back.

2) Then i changed all my mounts b/c all were broken. This was in January 2010 i found out about it and ran a tranny scan and nothing showed up. I didnt drive the car until march when i fixed replaced all of the mounts the hard jerk had stop and the car was riding smooth for about 2 months.

3) Then i changed the fluid with the right one this time in april 2010, the Matic K. That didnt work at all in not time the same thing was happening

4) Then i had the seals changed on the tranny or so i was told in June 2010. It worked for about month and a half and the jerking and reving came back.

5) In Sept 2010 took it to a tranny specialist and had it scanned again (no check engine light was on but wanted to make sure). No codes surfaced just showed unusual shifting tech guy suggested it was the valve body.

6) In Dec 2010 took it to an autoshop, they ran a engine scan and tranny scan. No codes showed. He said it may be due to the octane rating i am using (i think we only get 87) so he told me add octane booster. That hasn't changed much things with the car.

Can some one give me some insight, we dont have a nissan dealer here but they do sell some nissan parts. They wont work on the car b/c the company does not import or sell maxima's. And this problem only happens when the engine is hot.
