moonroof problem

Never really had an issue with it before, didn't bother checking any fuses or anything as it still tilts upwards, but it will not retract to any position. Anybody ever have a similar issue?

Mine did that after leaving the battery disconnected for a while. I just pushed the tilt up button repeatedly until it opened all the way and then closed all the way. After that it worked normally.

I'm having problems as well, and none of the other threads seem to have addressed them. I have an 04 SE that I bought used a week ago. The black SLIDING switch doesn't do anything that I can tell. I slide it up and back and nothing happens. The only way I can get the moonroof to open is to use the black ROCKING lever. Is the switch just broken or faulty?
