Can you just replace the inserts if your mounts are bad or you need the whole mount ????

The aluminum inserts require the rubber to be pressed out and replaced with the aluminum RL inserts. Vibrations will be immediate and some what intense at idle on an AT transmission equipped car. on a manual they will not be as severe but will no doubt be noticeable.

The reason we offer the Aluminum ones are for those that either like/ want rock solid in general ( not many), or for those that are running high HP (n2o, turbo) and don't mind sacrificing some comfort for performance.

For a daily driven car especially an automatic one, I do not recommend the aluminum versions at all. Stick to the Street or Race poly inserts

What goes bad in a mount, just the rubber or the whole thing? Like if mine are worn, and I replace the rubber with poly, will they be like new ?

I know they are going to make my car vibrate BAD specially because im auto

but meh i already bougth another daily and the maxima is more of a racecar now lol

but i need it for my shifts on n20

if i don't like em .. i'll just man up drop that sub frame again and take em off

the rubber basically tears up ... and the 04+ are famous for the bad mounts

my conclusion is the tranny's going out might also be a cause of the motor mounts going bad with all the rocking

i noticed everyone with tranny issue's had SHOT mounts .. so meh lets see what happens
