Buying Magnaflows tonight on fleabay....have a couple questions first.

I am buying the 14805's.

1.) will magnaflows reduce low end torque? I felt like my Fujita CAI may have (a tiny bit) and I do not want to take another step back if they do.

2.) what should it cost to have two mufflers like this installed? what has everyone paid? what is fair? range?

3.) what is the deal with the crimp i see everyone talking about? should I remove this or keep it and why?

Please answer any you can. Thanks so much.

I paid $350 shipped on eBay for 2 magnaflows. Got them installed with 2.25" piping and 48" of resonators, in the end it was probably about a grand total of... ~$300 iirc to install (i know the guy too, he's done like 4 of my cars so I got a deal lol)

but they are great I have the cat-back exhaust and NISMO CAI and I notice no loss of power, nothing but gain by seat-of-pants estimate.

Am I going to have to run all new 2.25 piping all the way to the cats? I was hoping it would simply be a muffler switch. I am not changing the resonator or the cats. I want to leave the rest stock.

Come on guys. The mufflers are sitting in my trunk right now. I don't want to get snaked by some muffler shop. I would rather go in there and tell them what I want. Would someone please help me with any of the questions?

I did the magnaflows. I didn't change the pipe. I did 1 magnaflow resonator and took it back for another because of how bad the droan was. No it is perfect.

What I did was just chop the resinator, strait pipe back from the cat, and then the magnaflows. It sounds great. The place I got it done at I also bought two magnaflow mufflers. But the cost of the mufflers, chopping the res,and instilation was 550$.

thanks everyone. I had my magnaflow 14805's installed and they are PERFECT! They sound great. In my opinion, my car sounds like a BMW M3. They also look incredible. For those wondering, mine were installed for $180 here in Columbia, SC.
