Pulling Code P1800 sigh.....

What up Family,

Yeah I know I been ghost a for a minute.

I am pulling the P1800 Code Now. The Max is having issues when shifting gears causing the RPMs to red line. When it finally shifts, its causing the hard jolt.

I origianlly thought its a tranny issue. I found that this code MIGHT be causing the shifting issues since the ECM doesnt know when to send a ON or OFF signal.

Has anyone else pulled this code while having the shifting issue? If so, when you repaired it, did the shifting issue stop?

I plan on starting with the vacuum hose first then working my way to the wiring harness. I hope its not the VIAS....

Any help will be appreciate.

Any luck with this issue? I just pulled the P1800 code yesterday and getting ready to dive in for a hopeful fix. After all I had read, I was fully expecting to pull a P0720 code with the 'transmission slip' issue, but got the P1800 instead. Right now my '02 SE is jumping about 500-700 rpm when switching from 2nd to 3rd, plus the power is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay down!

If it's the VIAS, that can be easily replaced... the NWP block-off plate that replaces it isn't too expensive.

Good luck. I never had that code when I had my '04.

Kind of bro. Looks like I need new motor mounts. Found out it was causing the issues and the tranny is fine. As Oolatec said, the P1800 should be fixed with the block off plate. But I have the Kinetix intake and though that would eliminate the need for the plate???

Overall looks like the tranny is okay but need new motor mounts. Stealership is asking for $300 each.... yeah right lol

I need to replace all 4 (if I am correct)

Found a few with the 1st page google results.
