6 speed clutch damper delete

Hey all,

Has anybody done the clutch line damper delete to their Max? I'm thinking about it since I am having trouble getting mine bled properly and every stick car I've had didn't have a damper, so I don't think I need it. Any input? Seems like a simple job.

I need to do this soon. Clutch intermittently going soft is getting annoying.

Been curious about this since I saw a thread about the 240's doing this but haven't gotten around to looking at the car.

Thanks!

I was just told to figure out a bypass as I have to replace my clutch, but this solves it.

Argh. No 6th gen lines available.

Does anyone know of a place that sells 6th gen master-to-slave lines, or will the hardline need to be bent?

Any help appreciated!

I did some searching and it seems the Technafit NC-222 line is compatible with the 02-06 Maxima.

I'd suggest calling to make sure that this line goes directly from master to slave cylinder, as opposed to the cylinder to the hard line. When I called them, they said that they did not have a direct line for the 6th gen.

If you happen to know the length and the ends needed, technafit said they can make an SS line for about $40 or so.

The shop I used ended up fabricating a master/slave rubber hose for me as part of the clutch install.
