first make sure you clean the threads on the coilover, then shoot it with PB blaster

once you clean the threads, tap the locking collars with a soft hammer. That helped on my set.

It definitely helps to pull the wheel.
clean the threads off and hose them down with penetrating oil.
stick the wrench on there and smack the wrench with a rubber mallet.
make sure you're turning it the right direction.
once you get it loose, coat the threads liberally with anti-sieze before putting it all back together.

..... moving to 6th gen since this is not advanced suspension.. pretty basic maintenance ish here.

You can also use a air chisle and hit it real quick and you should be able to get it unseized... works for me.

i clean my threads with a wire brush, then spray it with a white lithium spray grease. i've only loosened them once, but that one time, seemed really easy since using that spray grease...and i always run the locking collar all the way to the bottom and then back up so that grease will be well spread. then i spray it once more after i lock everything back down

Update: I hit it with rubber hammer when doing reseting preload on driver side n I didn't reset preload on passenger side bec spring was tight. Then 2 days later is started to make knocking noise on both side when turning left/right. Damper nut is tight.

Can someone tell me somethings?
