i don't think anyone here is going to spend the time giving you detailed instructions screw for screw. you just need to figure it out. if you can't figure it out, sorry, but you should be taking apart your car. go get an oldie and learn how to wrench from there if you want to be a hands on guy. it takes time and experience to learn to mod without instruction, you don't wake up one day and get by with a good idea in your head.

if you are good at tinkering, disregard that last bunch of sentences, and keep reading. You should know by now that you need to work on your max first and then come to us with a specific problem if you get stuck. not just wake up, get on the comp and start asking us to do your thinking for you. disassembling the innerds of a car aint rocket science and doesn't need a special know how unless there is again a specific problem that has you caught up. im talking about a hiding screw connecting blah and blah under blah. not how to do the whole freaking thing. for that information, you need to go BUY yourself a Hayes guide. no one wants to break all that down for free.

Actually there's not a sticky but I have done it and it's just a matter of process, kind of as mentioned above by twenty eggs. Just take your time and if you get stuck come back and ask a question. It's been a long time since I have done mine but may be of some help...

Good luck, and what are you trying to accomplish anyways?

Remove Center Console

Start with the gear shift ****. IT DOES NOT UNSCREW! To remove it, you slide the chrome collar (under the leather ****) down.To do this use a couple of thin butterknifes putting the knifes edge between the collar and the leather **** and separate . Look for a small wire retaining piece and pop that out with a small flat screwdriver. The leather **** then just's lifts off.

The only tricky parts left are the back section of the console and trim around the gearshift. Get in the back seat and grab the back part of the console and pull back . It should pop out. Look for several screws at the bottom and remove them.

Gearshift trim :Start at the top forward area on either side of the temperature controls. Use a thin knife and gently get behind it on the outer edge. Work up and down prying outward until it pops out . Then do the other side. The as you work back, it should pop upward. Then look for any small screws that are holding the console down. There's two on the front. Also as you lift the console up and out, unplug the wires that you'll see.
