Passenger side

Passenger side

Hi Guys,
Just find out that the carpet on the passenger side is soaking wet.
i dont know where it came from...... does anybody experience this kind of problem.... pls, chime in..

1. If the water only shows up when you run the AC, it's probably the AC condensate drain

2. If the water shows up when you run your heater it's probably a leak in the heater core.

Heater core is on the pass side under the dash...could be a leak there or at the heater hoses coming into the firewall. Or perhaps your condensation line for the moisture from the evaporator is stopped up or missing. I've seen on other cars where the condensation hose under the hood up against the firewall was missing, and the water would trickle back inside the firewall instead of falling to the ground through the small hose.

I say all this with knowledge from other cars, not the Max directly. But those are things I'd think could cause it. Of course a bad seal on the door could allow water in as well...
