I JUMPED MY MAXIMA!!

Well guys, something interesting happened to me. as you can read from the title i jumped my maxima over rail road tracks. It was not intentional!! no way would i treat my car like that on purpose. I was cruising along. and a terrible song came on the radio. I am usually very good at multitasking. i checked the road, i am the only one out there. So i look down to see what station i want as im flipping through them.
all of a sudden my car drops out from under me and im weightless!!! SLAM!! SKID!!! SKID!!!! i went over some rail road tracks on a FFFFFUCCED up road. I pulled over to check my tires, rims, strut towers, and shocks. thank God, they are all ok. i look at where i was when i landed and looked at where the tracks ended. it was a gap of about 3.5 feet high!!! that is VERY BIG for a car like ours... as i was there looking at what happened i saw someone who was most likely a local, because he slowed down to like 5mph to go over these track. the speed limit was 50 out there and no signs to warn anyone of this drop, and you can't see the drop by coming at it the direction i was.

so i wouldn't recommend it, but i looks like our maxima's can take a jump like that. at least once i guess.. drive safe and thanks for reading

Cool...I did something like that in my 84 cutlass once, bumper fog lights when straight down, stripped the teeth out of the pivit...other than that no damage...

Damn, glad your ride/you are alright. But yeah, those roads in the boonies aren't really kept right most of the time.

the main praise i got for the max is it handled perfectly. i know a few cars that would have lost control especially since the tracks were at an angle. i touched down right wheel first.
