Lowerd bone stock 07 Maxima on eibach

So i couldnt stand the wheel gap in the front of my 07 max ive had for about 2 months. i got a deal on a set of lightly used eibach prokits and kyb gr-2s from an awesome member here for $305 shipped. spend wednesday doing my first oil change and mounting the new suspension. car handles like a dream for a sedan and i love the drop. i almost like the stock ride height in the rear more and might add an upper bushing to lift it back up but for now im super happy with the results.

also made me see how restrictive the stock exhuast is before the split with how it pancakes after the resonator. im either going to have a shop put in a straight pipe from behind the y-pipe to the split or get an ebay exhuast after hearing clips on youtube they dont sound loud at all til your over 4krpms just dont want that kind of attention

lowered front stock rear:

Looks good. I still have no idea why all the Maximas come from the factory looking like they have a lift kit installed in the front.

It's because the wheel wells are cut different, the car is leveled but the front wheel well is cut higher than the rear. OP car looks good!!

Very nice drop man. Can't wait to see some more progress when you start adding more mods. Hopefully you'll post some more pics when the time comes

It still makes no sense to me. I understand what you're saying but if that's true then it's like Nissan wanted the car to look stupid.

Depends on the person. If you change your own oil, brakes etc you should be able to do this. You will need a spring compressor. Air tools also make it faster but aren't required.

If you have eibach or h&r then you may not need to compress springs too much. If you have tein or oem springs then better get some good spring compressor. If you're upgrading struts and springs together then better get those rubber seats and spring upper retainers to build complete strut assembly outside your car and then just do an easy swap. If you're only swapping out springs then you need time, better tools, and somewhat mechanical brain.

Ok so there is no way to change them (oem to eibach) without a spring compressor? I have been told there is some way to do it by detaching the strut from under the hood.

I don't even think about doing that way for a minute by myself.

install is straigh forward but if you never have done it before do some good research. i used to mod 240sx's. my s14 had 530whp so working on stuff isnt an issue for me. im mostly self taught through internet and some pointers from my family who is all into cars one way or another but i never learned from them.

plans are some ebay exhuast with different tips welded on, intake, light tint all around better oem wheels (nissan or infiniti), sway bars, end links, have hood repainted from rock chips and black out front grill minues the emblem. then little odds and ends.

right now i just want it to be fun and efficient reason why i want the exhuast and intake i think it will definitely open up the motor but i dont want to be loud and from the sound clips i head the ebay exhuast seems great plus eventually getting different tips put on will be steahtly and maybe tone it down slightly. y pipe im sure will get added at some point

im not in much of a rush with the car since im so busy with my business's building up. still have a bike i ride around once that sells im planning to buy my friends 240sx i turboed a while back to race for the summer then sell that and focus on the max and business
