Bad News. . .

My 2004 105k mile transmission is on its way to the junkyard. I'm still driving it cause i dont have the money to fix it. It gives its jolts and jumps which is f-ing annoying. It started acting out at about 100k. . .

Sorry to hear about that man. But, at least it went to 105k. Most people have issues with it WAY before that point.

You might wanna check a junk yard and see if you can salvage a good transmission. It's worth a try IMO and also find a good shop to do it for a reasonable price. That'll save you a bunch of cash.

Sorry about that bro. Sad to say some people's cars just have problems, while others might last for a long time before any serious problem. I keep my fingers crossed that mine should never act up.

Do check a junkyard and you could buy a new transmission and get it installed at a decent price. I hope you can get it fixed.

my 2006 maxima is doing the same thing...started at 100k and 2 visits to the dealer confirmed its on it's way.

has anyone had experience with one of these extended warranty companies covering this repair?

I had mine replaced at 61,000... Action Transmission charged over $600 less in labor vs. the stealership.

Thanks you all. I will look into going into the junkyard. I just want the problems to go away.
