Help with wheel offset

I am looking to buy some new wheels, but I am not very good with widths, offsets, what works and what doesn't.

I am looking at these wheels: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/20-AC...item35a1322ea6

Specs:

20 x 8.5 +20
20 x 10 +25

I could use some advice on tire size as well. I also plan to lower on coil overs for a nice tuck and I am not opposed to using spacers.

Thank you in advance.

A negative offset means the true centerline of the wheel is in front of the mounting surface of the wheel. This would make the wheel/tire assembly stick out away from the vehicle. A positive offset means that the true centerline of the wheel is behind the mounting surface, thus putting the wheel/tire assembly deeper into the fender well.

Are you trying to tuck wheel or tire? Are you opposed to running stretched tires? 20x10 +25 is pretty aggressive, you'd definitely have to run stretched tires, 255/35/20 or maybe even 245/35/20.

25 mm will rub in the back if you have stock suspension stock wheels. 20mm in the front should be fine. to fix the problem with the 25mm spacers, you need to roll your fenders. there are many people who will do it for 50 bucks. just make sure they use a heat gun to make the paint malleable.

if you have lowered your car at all, kiss the 25mm goodby.

yeah 25mm with my 8" wide 20s rubbed bad in the rear and time i hit a bump or had passengers. stiffer shocks helped very little, rolling the fenders only cracked the paint leading to rust, doubt he used heat like i asked...
25mm AND 10" wide? sure you will rub like crazy.

for the rear you want at least a 35mm..i have 20x10 in the rear with a 41mm off set and i have no problems running a 275/30/20 tire in the rear... easy way to remember..the lower the off set the further out it will sit..thus a skinnier tire...i think..it confuses me sometimes too..but that has been the pattern i have noticed....

350Z Wheels

Need some help as well.. Just bought a set of 350Z 17" wheels for my 04' Maxima and the back wheels do not seem to fit correctly. The lug nuts come a little loose after a while and now I have noticed my drivers side back wheel is wobbling so the car is sitting in the garage till I can figure how to fix this. Is there something special I need to get the wheel to fit correctly? It's as if the center hole is not big enough?
