Power locks
So as it's getting hotter and hotter outside, my dear old Bernadette is having trouble keeping up. When the car sits in direct sunlight or even just gets above 85 degrees or so my power locks start to not work. Does anyone have the same problem/know a fix?

ive had two of my locks go out on me thus far. all i did was replace the solenoid.
i have heard many people blame temperature on their car problems, but i've never heard of temperature actually being the problem. its only exacerbates the real issue at hand.
if its all of you locks, and it only happens at a specific temperature, my only suggestion is to check all components to the locking circuit. this is very time consuming and your probably going to have to take it to a stealership if you can't do it yourself.

my left rear lock goes out when it feels like it, its flanky, sometimes it works, other times it doesnt, i was gonna take down the panel and check it out, then it started working again, LMFAO i know i guess it knew i was coming to mingle with it so it got scared XD

LOL, well that is exactly what happened with my two locks. they go out gradually, sometimes the worked some times they didn't. i found if you lock/unlock a bunch of times in a row they would stop working.
i bought a solenoid online and replaced it. i haven't had any problems since.
being that it happened twice (both in the rear), im sure there are others with the same problem. if you don't want to fix it, you can set the car to unlock only the front or driver with one click, and open all four with two clicks.
