Front Grill

I have a 2006 Silver Maxima SE. I would like to make a couple of modifications to make it look nicer. First off I would like to replace my front grill where the Nissan Symbol is pealing due to cheap plastic. Any suggestions on part #'s/online stores to purchase and a reasonable price that I could do myself without any difficulty. Also is there an easy way to add a ipod jack with pictures on any posts out there that someone could point me to? I appreciate any comments/pictures/advice for making my Maxima look better. Any suggestions on what modifications I could do to improve my MPG. Thanks for your input in advance.

Regards

Here is some grilles that I think would be tasteful for a 6th gen:

1. A) http://www.autopartsfair.com/nissan-...395077322.html
B)http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SSE-950-77322

I like the grill in the first link, however the other two I really don't like the additional plastic border that the mesh sits in...seems to look cheap looking. The first link seems is all mesh, just wonder how install will be like.

The first is an insert which i believe means cutting up the stock ones...and install is 2 clips uptop and then just pop off.

The street scene grille is one of the nicest grilles for a 6th gen. There are some people on this forum that has it. You just have to look at their sigs.

Nope, it isn't an insert at all. That's the whole grille right there.

I did that too but he doesn't have our grill, he has the 04-06 grill. I could make his grill sweet though.

Sorry, but the reason i modded my own grill is that i didn't want to pay 150 dollars for , IMO, is an over priced piece of plastic..

My stock grill was flaking also. I used paint stripper to take off the coating that was coming off anyway. Now the grill looks great. Almost like crome.

I got the Mesh from work, i had a Finn Power Puncher, ( 3.5 million dollar machine make it for me). Its heavy duty 16 gauge sheet metal and then it was powder coated. I painted and formed it my self. If you want to see all pics here is the link

I decided to go the OEM Mod route because i just couldn't comprehend spending 160+ dollar on a grill that was nothing but plastic.

P.S. Sorry bout the dirty front end.
