Optimal A/C Pressure Readings

Guys, what are the appropriate A/C pressure readings for the 6th gen? I have a manifold guage set, but I really don't know when the pressure readings are supposed to be either too low or too high on the suction and discharge sides of the compressor. My Max is 06.

it depends on the ambient air temperature, there should be something called a P/T chart that comes with the manifold set that lets you know what pressures to use.

generally you want 200 psi on the high and 40 on the low

as for suctioning just do it by ear, get all the possible old lubricant out of there.

also make sure you purge that air in the vacuum/refill line so you don't get any air bubbles in the system.

Thanks pal, got your drift. With 25oC (770F) I got 14 psi on the low side and 99 psi on the high side. I guess my A/C is low-charged. Could be leaking;I'm yet to determine that.
What do you mean by "old lubricant"? Would you be referring to the refrigerant?
I got the the Mastercool manifold set in the hope that I'd be able to determine current refrigerant level of the A/C. But this was not to be as it only reads pressure levels. Or am I missing out something on its operation?
