07' rattle

thanks for all the info you guys provide!...maybe of of you might have the answer, it is not the Catalytic Coverter or the heat shield, Nissan look at it and it is definitely not the gas I put. I was suggested by the stealership to do a fuel cleaning but the car has only 43k...the rattle comes from a stop or under load between 1-2000rpm and yes it does sound like beans in a can for a few seconds. Lucky for me it is not often...I dont feel any power lose or vibrations but it annoys the hell out of me. Please can someone

It's carbon I had the same issue with my M35 I had the infiniti dealer clean the fuel system and throttle body It did quite the noise alot and it idles much smoother but the rattle can still be heard

On the NICO forum users have reported the same noise and it was the CATS making the same rattle noise can some one get a sound click I'll post it on NICO forum and have the infiniti tech listen then report back it worth a shot

Same issue

i think i have the same rattling/beans in a can noise on my 04 max. its been there at least 6 months but the past two weeks has gotten noticeably louder and more frequent? still think its just a build up on the motor? would a detailed engine cleaning help?

Guys, does the sound go away once the engine is hot? Mine does.
It also goes away after 3000 rpm.

It started about 60K miles ago, and it has gradually become louder. Sometimes if I turn the engine off and then back on (when the engine has reached normal-warm temp) the noise goes away.

If it's carbon, how can we get rid of it? Where is it being held up? in the cylinder chamber? between valves???

the sound is for a few seconds and it goes away, (thank God!) it may come back from a stop, rarely on a left/right turn since you have to slow down or under load. its between 1-2000rpm...around 3k I'm gone!!...fricking marbles shaking in a can!!
