certified pre-owned warranty

I bought a 2005 max from the dealer in June 2008. It had 20K on it. I bought the Security Plus Preferred Preowned Warranty. It ran out at 72k. The car has 82k now and the Transmission is getting 'Funny'.

Could this have the Certified preowned warranty to cover transmission till 100k? Was the C.P-O. warranty the same in June 2008? I have no paperwork so I don't know the deal. How do I find out?

Thanks much for help.

This is the currant Warranty:
The Nissan Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle Limited Warranty extends the powertrain coverage of the Nissan new vehicle limited warranty to 84 months from the original in-service date of the vehicle or 100,000 total miles on the odometer, whichever occurs first.

Take it in to a dealership, it should be free for them to diagnose any minor problems. Before then they can run the VIN and tell you what is and what is not covered.

I get the feeling I'm going to need the valve body judging by the numerous shifting problems the '05s are having, mine included. I'm guessing the dealership will recommend the $180 tran flush which will probably alleviate the syptoms for maybe 50 miles.
The Security Plus Prefered Preowned Warranty dropped out at 72k but if the Certified Preowned Warranty is good 'til 100k like the current ones are, then I should be covered.

Where the Certified Preowned Warrantys the same in June 2008?

I have no paperwork so I guess I've got to take the dealers word for it. Do dealers get reimbursed for a tranny repair that's covered by the Cert. Preowned Warranty? Or do they eat those? The car was purchased in June 08, and had 22k.
Anybody else have a similar situation?
