Gas Gauge

I have an 07 Max, couple of weeks before Irene shows up in NJ i drove to a puddle of water, find out that my gas gauge got stuck on the pin which he suppose to be resting or sort of stopper... anybody have encounter this problem please can you chime in.......

did you try tapping on the dash or banging on it??

Buy a couple of magnets from home depot and turn the **** anticlockwise if it is stuch below the marker. It has worked for a lot of people in the past.

yeah thats what i did, went loew's and bought a pack of brick magnets, took me like 1 minute to fix my gas gauge.
