07s Factory Rust Warranty

Okay, so I bumped a deer two weeks ago with the car. Bambi lived, and damage to the whip is minimal-$2500.

So, in looking over the car, my mechanic discovers hat I have deterioration of paint and the beginning stages of rust along the rear/passenger side of my wheel-well.

I am in luck, however, because the Nissan factory rust warranty is not up, in my case, until December, so catching it now means I do not have to pay for the repair. For those who have 07s, check your cars and when you factory paint warranty is up because you just might be able to save yourself some grief.

Would you say this goes for 08s as well? Or is this just a 07 thing?

I only said 07s because the factory rusty warranty is up this year. In my case it is up in Dec, so I was fortunate to catch it before I had to pay for the repair.

If you have issues, then I would take it in to be evaluated.
