Best coilover SETTING??
Ok so i've had D2's for a little over a month now. I've played with the stiffness and spring rate, but for some reason i cant get it to stop bouncing. My sis has the same susp on an 07Accord but it rides amazing compared to mine.
My question is what do u guys have ur stiffness to and spring rate(tightness of spring) or does anyone have any suggestions??

Thats the only thing that makes sense at this point. I just need to know what would be the best for ride comfort. I did research before n ive tried 0 preload but it was when the struts were softer n i felt it bounce a lil. I then adjusted the rear n tightened the spring, but im not sure how tight it is, n i left the front how it was n i have the struts on 36 all the way around. Should it be equal all the way around or should front/rear be stiffer than the other?

Not sure what the suspension is on the Accord, is the rear struts or shocks? If it's struts all around, it may have been setup better out of the box.
What kind of bounciness are you experiencing? Is it bouncing more than once after a bump, or is it just that you are feeling every bump and dip in the road?
Assuming the D2 suspension is similar to the BC's, you have to make sure the preload is correct first. BC told me the rear should have 1/4" of preload, maybe yours is similar. As for the front, the preload should have been correct out of the box, no need to adjust it. After the preload is set correctly, then play with the damping. Set all four corners the same until you find a setting you like, then think about doing different settings front and rear (not too far from each other though).

I was feeling both. I now have the front preload at 6mm n the back at 4mm. Stiffness is at 36 all the way around. Its alot better than before, but i think i can still get it to bounce just a little less. I havent gone over any more bumps or dips yet. Im taking a ride out to the city tonight so ill be able to tell the difference more.
Ill keep everyone posted just in case cuz i know this question will pop up again.

I also have D2 racing coilover on my 2004 maxima. On D2 coilover u shouldn't added pre-load to spring bec spring rate is higher than bc racing coilover plus D2/Ksport is true (1 piece coilover in the rear) for 6thgen. On D2/ksport u should only do hand tight pre-load. The more pre-load = bouncy bec D2/Ksport/Shunk(on some) are linera springs. Linera spring don't need pre-load just make sure spring is snug or not loose. On progress springs u added preload depend on manufacture recommend.
