Just wondering if anyone has any experience with these two specific HID replacement bulbs? Is there a huge difference between the light output and color between the two? (yes i understand one is 4300k and one is 6000k) i'm asking about these specific bulbs, any info, comments, suggestions, places to purchase. thanks.

As far as I know the Phillips D2S 85122+ 4300k is the brightest 35watt hid bulb there is out there... anything above 4300K will not be as bright as the 4300K
check the hidplanet.com there is a guide on bulbs...

Osram CBI's > both of those. 5000K in color and no lumen loss at that temperature.

I bought the Ultinon 6000k to replace the burnt out factory HIDs. Light output sucked compared to the OEM bulbs.

I have them in D2R, love them. 4300 and 5K got a little too boring.

Bah those are rediculously expensive, just go on to TRS and get a morimoto bulb, they are SO close to the phillips that its crazy while also being a crap load cheaper. 4300K is white which like LUDI had said is the "brightest" HID out there, and the 5000K yes you do get some lumen decrease but it like 100lm which you cant really tell to the naked eye, BUT it's whiter. 6000K is like 400-500lm less but depending on your style or what you like its a lot more noticebly blue.
