CXJ PERFORMANCE 3pc Thermal Phenolic Spacers Results

i wanted to be very sure about what i am stamping my name onto. my 3/8 spacers show a gain of 17hp with 10 increase in torque. The spacers also showed a decrease in manifold temperature by 33-34 degrees colder than stock. My spacers produce the highest numbers of a spacer kit available with real r&d dyno graphs and videos to show customers. i dont go the cheap route with making products nor will i produce a product with a lesser grade of material.
as the saying goes " you get what you paid for "
my name means alot more to me than a added dollar in the bank. i am here to stay for a long long time

sparks
i must apologize to you and every other member on the forums and who ever has view this thread. i am not dyno tech tester so my conclusions was made on the information that was provided to me from the tech.

after talking with him about what sparks has pointed out in the graphs.they did look choppy and had hic-ups all over the charts. he overlooked the files again and told me of the error that was made on his part. i fully stand behind my products and will except any backlash.

conclusion

my dyno runs show an increase of 12 hp and 15 increase of torque not the 17hp increase or the increase of 10 in torque.

i was not trying to hose anyone. the other graph showed engine rmps and that 213hp was indeed a spike in the transmission shifting

this is the proper graph that i have recieved from my tech. there was a total of 6 dyno runs. what is shown is the average of each set of runs before and after the thermal spacers were installed showing run 2 as the medium for the before spacer run and 4 for after the spacers were installed run.

i do know this error does not help my cause and will be further fuel for further debated discussion but i am human like everyone else and i made a boo boo lol

this information will be posted and corrected on each thread and my site

sorry for the mishap

thanks again sparks

Cory

once again i am a designer/fabricator not a dyno tech guy. i am truely sorry for this misinformation.

turbo whistle?

i don't now if this is something that will cause me to buy your spacers, or go with someone else.. little engine noises related to performance is a plus, like the swoop of a CAI/SRI, but it makes me nervous since i don't know jack about spacers.

is it a constant whistle or only under WOT?

could you record a sound??

why does it whistle? usually in order to make a sound, something must cause vibrations, and when there is air involved that means some form of friction (pressure build up and release) is required to create a peak and trough of each frequency. isn't friction bad for intake anything?

i mean it could be an infinitesimally small thing that wouldn't affect anything, and your dyno sheets prove that it most likly is, but since your the creator i want to ask if you knew more about it.

like i said im in the market, and i think 3/8's would be much better than 1/4 so im pretty much sold. I just want clarification on the whistle. i don't want my car to sound like an old man when im driving around a parking lot. if it happens under heavy acceleration only then that would be fantastic!

the noise only happen unders hard accerleration and has been know to happen in other spacer kit that is out there as well. its not an annoying sound , it accually sounds real freaking good.

i dont know if you remember that i was the guy who brought the new style mufflers from a vendor for about $600.00 and traded them 3 days later for stock mufflers and no money. just a even trade because i purely hate drone in the car

pm sent as well

sick work Cory! keep bangin' it out with these new products and raw statistical data proving their gains. you can argue about how to interpret the dyno chart, but can't argue about what it shows.

i also invite anyone in the CT/NY/MA/RI area who wants me to install my product on their car to send me a pm.

its always a good feeling to have the owner of such a great product who is willing to actually do the install of there products.

Hey Cory, where are you located in CT? Are these spacers comparable to NWP ones in terms of material? I was contemplating whether i should get the NWP ones or yours. The free install is very tempting.

NWP are 1/4 inch. CXJ are 3/8 inch.

when heat is involved thicker is better.

so CXJ 3 piece spacers are better than nwp 3 piece spacers.

That is not always a true statement, that thicker is better. I don't own CJX materials so just on the statement, if the material used is lower quality, thicker =/= better. but if the size difference does allow for better flow of air and a higher cooling property then I guess CJX would take the win. either way each is an improvement over stock so they both win there.

I don't know what the quality comparison is. But the size difference is obviously there.

Personally I have NWP 5 piece and it kicks ****. Thanks Aaron. Guys - good luck with your build.

I'll be the first to do so Cory the Kit is great you will notice a lot of pull the car takes off extremely fast and the low end torque we loose with the BOP PLATE trust the spacers makes up for that. All CXJ parts are good to go in my book.

Yes i do see a little better fuel mileage but i love the sound of the Fujita intake working with the spacers and block of plate so there goes my premium lol.
