What is your fastest 1/4 time in your 6thgen Maxima with just bolt on mods?

Which 6thgen currently holds the record for the 1/4 mile with just bolt on's.Meaning no spray, supercharge and turbocharge? What bolt ons and tuning you had done to accomplish the times.

Also is your car automatic or manual?

I think Krazy6 did a 12.9 or 12.6 with a whole lot of weight reduction and a few bolt ons....

Fastest 6th gens I've heard about and seen on youtube was going mid 13's. Don't think I've ever seen anything below that mark.

That is some quick times man,but you still have an advantage with the spray.I'm just doing all bolt ups and I have very little experience on the drag strip

Twentyeggs, you're a liar! You know you run in the high 10's b/c all that plasti-dipping cuts down on wind resistance so much!

I like that you can adjust coilovers to how low you want to go but the ride is not that comfortable

My money is on Krazy6's 12.9. I think he said the car weighed 3,000 lbs with him in it so it had several hundred lbs of weight reduction and he was on slicks. With street tires, no weight reduction and just bolt ons I doubt you could get one below 13.5.

Taz394 said he's doing 12.9 on the 1/4 mile.My car must need alot of work because the best I did was 15.5 stock.

Taz's 12.9 was on nitrous with a lot of bolt ons. 15.5 is a little off unless you're at a high elevation. At sea level any stock 6th gen should be able to get into 14's. There are a lot of variables such as traction, temperature, elevation and car maintenance (does it have 100,000 miles and still have the factory air filter?).

More like 200k on the motor. All I have is a CAI,and it was my 2nd time at the track so I guess inexperience has alot to do with it.Next year i'll have no excuse.I'll be coming with every bolt on mod I can find

I hear that.I was gonna do a supercharge but when I seen chern blow his tranny it deterred me.I'm just gonna stick with the bolt on's because at the end of the day it's my only and every day car so I don't inted to do the weight reductions.

I just want to keep up with the altimas that I run with. They got all the bolt on's so they whop my @%#

LMAO that's insane what time krazy6 got with what he had to work with. Anyways, that's fast as hell for a auto 6th gen man. Getting a 12.9 @113 is to be respected. I still remember that Kevin had the fastest time but, I totally forgot about the actual numbers honestly.

Thanks for sharing the info man. Definitely eating my words on the post I made earlier (walks away in utter shame and humiliation LOL).

Sorry im not english im trying to follow all that, i understand most of the discussion but i dont get what are those Bolt on

in my logic i would think these are easy tweaks you can do to your car at low price that would bring a little more hp but what are these modification? because i just bought a 2008 Maxima and like Mrjasonlyrics said its my everyday car im not gonna blow it up for a 13 sec THANKS BRO

When I said bolt on's I mean anything other than supercharge, turbocharge and NOS. There's a lot of simple things that shouldn't cost more than 2K and it won't blow your motor.

I haven't been on here a very long time but I found mods that I didn't know existed until this site.

Bolt on's mods are y-pipe,light weight crank pulley, intake"short ram or CAI',timing advance, catback exhaust, intake manifold, headers, spacer kit and block off plate.

So what your next Mod your getting, I just put my Cattman Headers on like 2 weeks ago and I can see that major power everybody have been talking about, and should be putting on the exhaust this week to get some more ponies....GL....

I doubt i'll be doing anything more than bolt on's because this is my everyday car and I can't afford to blow my engine or tranny. I won't do the headers because i'm sure the car would fail the emissions. I'll eventually get the y-pipe and i'll be good with that.

I really don't intend to get too much done because this car will only do late 13's and I don't intend to strip it to gain a few extra seconds. I just want to do late 13's early 14's and i'll be good

What crack are you on? How dare you insult a GTR with that? It looks nothing like a GTR, the hamburger is the only thing they have in common. I love my max but I would never compare it to a super car like a GTR.

This.

The closest you can get a Maxima to looking like a Skyline is the 4th gen with the R34 headlights and R33 tails. Even then, it hardly resembles a Skyline.

I swear you sit and look for these comments man. If the dude says it looks like a GT-R it's his opinion. We all know it's not.

I know it will never be a skyline and i'm not the only one who bought the "GT-R" bodykit. I just wanted it to look diffent than stock

I'm not calling you out, OP. If you want it to look different, that's fine. Do your thing.

But the dude who said it looks just like a GT-R is a different story...
