I would go Cattman Headers and y-pipe or Racingline y- pipe not sure if they make headers, Cattman Fastcat or Racingline Hi Flo Cat if they make it, exhaust Greedy or the ebay knockoff for piping and switch out the mufflers or keep em your choice...

yea, thats basically my question, who still makes what? i have heard good things about everything cattman..but i dont ever see anything for sale..and the ebay exhaust is very inexpensive compared to everything else(I would love an sp2..but dont see myself spanding almost a grand on a catback), but does it sound ricey?

i may call around a few places and see if i can have a custom job done..what do you guys recommend for piping size if i do go that route?

If you don't want to pay close to a Grand for a Catback and ebay is out of your budget WTF is the point to this thread, cant get great quality and performance for dirt cheap....

If you don't want to (or can't) spend a G on a cattman, magnaflow etc., just spend $200 on the ebay exhaust and call it a day.

The Greddy won't cost you a grand, and it's far from making the max sound "ricey"...

Spend the money and get a proper system because it will hurt you more when your car sounds like crap and you have to spend more money to undo or change.

I'm not sure what a real N1 is but when it comes to piping they are all the same, the mufflers is what makes the difference. The catback was bought from ebay but there was no way in hell I was gonna use those ugly single tip on my GT-R bodykit.

I never regret doing the magnaflows and there wasn't any crazy modifications needed.I just cut the flange off and welded on the magnaflow.I love it.

The ebay exhaust is awesome. For the price, its hard to beat. I had Stillen on my 4th gen, Magnaflow on 2 others. It is real hard to justify spending extra money for the same thing. I have heard that if you live in an are with snow, you should paint the piping before install for extra protection. I live in So Cal so no worries for me. This exhaust does not make your car sound "ricey" at all. I have a Berk intake and ebay cat back and it sounds very nice. My neighbor has dual magnaflows and a vibrant resonator and I think my exhaust sounds way better. But then again, I am trying to build my Max with a grand budget. (I have a excesive modding issue) If you want to hear it, search it on youtube.

LOVE the Vibrant sound as well as the stealthy look.
If you like to stand out, go with the Nismo or the GReddy Spectrum Elite option.
