Flywheel resurfacing...

Has anyone resurfaced their OEM flywheel before in 6th gen?
What step did you do?

Not possible, why do you need yours resurfaced?

Only option is to go aftermarket...

It's a two piece flywheel and cannot be resurfaced, buy an aftermarket for half the money.

My machinist does them for $90, never had a problem.

Call around, you would be surprised, there are quite a few people across the country who are willing to remachine dual-mass flywheels.

Installing a new clutch with a flywheel with heat/uneven spots will cause disc chatter when engaging the clutch from a stop. Clutch chatter is not good.

Stumbled across this on accident. I guarantee you can find someone in Houston if I can find multiple shops to do it in San Antonio.
