2007 maxima Hard to accelerate

Hey guys, I've been searching for awhile now, but i haven't found any answers yet.

I got a 2007 Maxima with the CVT trans, recently the car has been having issues where the car doesnt want to accelerate., I have to floor the gas pedal just to get the car over 30mph.

Anyone having this issue or know what the cause and fix is?

How many miles you got on your car? From the time you bought it till now about when did it start to do this? What's your personal opinion? As a quick geuss I would say maybe the transmission is going out possibly!?

try to reset the ecu see whether it works, the car is in limp mode. been driving CVT with supercharger since 06 havent had any problems yet, they not as fragile as people think. i had the same problem couple years ago from loose bat. connection, intake leakage. hopefully nothing wrong with the box though.

Off topic but i bet your heat isn't as good as it used to be when sitting at idle. Check out this thread. http://forums.maxima.org/6th-generat...nger-side.html

Any updates on this problem? I'm having the same issue with my 07 SE with 70k miles. Between 20-30 mph the car hesitates for a few seconds and the and snaps back into gear. It's damn near undriveable. I also hooked a scanner up and I am not getting any codes. Checked the amp draw from the fuel pump and I am getting 4 amps consistently.

Hmm...no idea why you guys arent getting any codes but the fix for your limp mode you are experiencing is one of the below listed.

Camshaft sensors
Line pressure solenoid
Vehicle speed sensor

I replaced the camshaft sensors on a whim and that didn't change a thing. I'll look into the other two. I just seems odd that the car's not throwing a CEL for as bad as it runs. I made an appointment at the dealership monday if I cant figure the problem out by then.

I hope the camshaft sensors were Nissan branded?
