OEM XENON BALLAST

OEM XENON BALLAST
I currently have a Mcculloch hid kit installed in my car and wanted to know that if i were to buy oem ballasts from a nissan maxima that came equipped with xenon lights, would it just plug in with the wiring that i have on my car already? The reason why i want to do this is because i just bought xenon projectors and i am going to open up my lights soon to replace the halogen projector. I'm also planning to buy d2s bulbs since that is what the xenon projectors originally come with.
would it be better to go with this?

or this?

The Maximas OEM ballasts, referred to as Matsush!ta Gen III ballasts (Gen III and Gen IV are equivalent, and replace the "!" with an "i" since the word is being censored lol), more than likely have a different 12V input than your McCulloch ballasts. You'll need Matsush!ta Gen III/IV ballast inputs, which you can either get as bare ended wire or pigtailed with a 9006 connector which should fit the OEM 9012 bulb connector. Where would you mount the Matsush!ta ballasts, in the original OEM location under the headlight?
The first link you posted is if you want to use an OEM ballast and an aftermarket bulb, so that doesn't seem to be what you are looking for.
If you want as close to an OEM setup as you can get, I'd get the Matsush!ta ballasts, mount them in their original location (which requires you to open up the hole for them), cut off the 9012 connector, pull the wires out of the grommet and connect the wires to a bare ended Matsush!ta ballast input outside of the headlight, and get some D2S bulbs (I prefer OEM bulbs from Philips or Osram). You can get many parts you're missing from theretrofitsource.com, like the ballast inputs, sealing gasket for the Matsush!ta ballasts if they are missing, etc.
Let me know if you have any questions.

I would like to mention that mcculloch doesnt make hid kits... therefore you have china made, no name, fake brand, unreliable crap.
Just so you know.
It's like saying that you have a john deere hid kit, really... I cant believe people believe this.

First check your fuses. When I had aftermarket HID's, I think one of my ballasts went out and would instantly blow the passenger side fuse. Then try swapping ballasts. Just wondering, how are you sure the bulb is good?

Kind of off topic.... but not. I wanted to research the difference between the McCulloch companies, one creates lawn and garden equipment and the other hid kits and their logos looked very similiar. While on the phony McCulloch site my computer was hit with a multiple viruses and is loaded now with trojan viruses trying to steal passwords and trying to log on and send my information. STAY AWAY FROM THAT FAKE SITE. I have been scanning and trying to rid myself of these viruses for a few hours now. Anyway, back on topic.
