Transmission Problems??

Do Nissans have transmisson problems too? I own a 2000 Acura TL and they are notorious for bad trannys. In fact, I am on my 2nd one and its starting to slip. Should I buy a Maxima? If it were you, would you take a chance on buying one considering the tranny problems. Man, I can't go through that again. What has NIssan done to rectify the problem.

My transmission started downshifting kind of rough lately,i check the oil dipstick and notice that the color isnt pink no more, its kind of dark...the car has 81000 miles. Im wondering if a tranny flush will help with the issue. Please help or comment. Any answers will be greatly appreciated.

Don't flush it please just do a drain and refill .
