rear cat removal

rear cat removal

How do I go about getting the cat near the firewall off? There are bolts from the top that I can't seem to get to or see for that matter.

Are you talking about your pre-cats? If you are doing any exhaust work you need two things. A sawsall and a welder. I don't even attempt removing bolts, just cut.

They can be removed, my tech did it. It's not easy though.
